The Louisiana Guard Dog is an ATV tie-down and security device designed to fit any truck with a 2" square receiver. It secures a 4-wheeler, with a 2" ball, in seconds and eliminates straps and ropes. It also prevents forward, backward, and side movement.
While using the Louisiana Guard Dog, ramps stored beneath the ATV will not slide out and theft is deterred. An added feature is a 2” receiver that has been installed to the back of the device which will allow you to pull a lightweight trailer.

The Louisiana Trailer Dog uses a similar concept and has been designed for use on trailers. The Louisiana Trailer Dog also eliminates straps, provides security and restricts movement. Although easy to install, the customer will be required to drill (6) 1/2" holes in the bed of the trailer for the installation of the base plate. When the Louisiana Trailer Dog is not in use, simply remove the upright arm, leaving only the one-inch plate attached to the floor of the trailer. Therefore, your trailer will not be restricted for other uses.
